Pete Doherty who rose to fame for banging Kate Moss for God knows how long has been sentenced to six months in jail for cocaine possession. He has a shitload of other drug related charges in hi spast but this is the one that broke the camels back and now he is headed away for a while. Hopefully this will be the thing that gets hims ober once and for all. And after that maybe he can move to America where he has a clean criminal record?

Pete Doherty is no stranger tot he way the law works as he has been arrested on
numerous occassions for drug charges. This time, the run in with the law was no
different. Except for one thing, someone is dead. A girl named Robin Whitehead
who is the heir to The Ecologist fortune was making a documentary about Doherty
that I doubt anyone would be interested in but she wound up dead in a bathroom
from an apparent drug overdose. Scotland Yard is saying that the death was not
being treated as suspicious but that doesn't mean that Doherty is off the hook. I
mean if someone is doing drugs and they die and you are in the presence of that,
it means that charges will be filed against you right? Especially if you were too
scared to call the cops because of the fear of getting arrested. I don't know. We will
see where this pans out but hopefully he will at least be forced to go to rehab or else
he gets it in the butt in the slammer.
